Each week for five weeks you’ll receive:

  1. A 30-50 minute pre-recorded teaching video exploring the weekly theme

  2. An original audio track to support your creative resilience (with ways to adapt it for use with your own groups)

  3. A gorgeous workbook with writing prompts + action steps to guide your process and make the learning come alive in your work

  4. Invitations for embodied, experiential hands-on exploration of the content and ways to engage with our learning community

  5. Inspiring written interviews with three leaders and facilitators representing a breadth of styles and focus areas — from writers to social justice advocates, theatre artists, painters, community organizers, coaches, conflict mediators, and more

“I learned facilitation years ago mostly by watching a gifted facilitator who does so much by intuition. I learned a ton from him, but topics like equity awareness, navigating conflict, and the co-creation of a space were never taught in an organized way. Your teaching videos and clear expression of the content has been so helpful in filling these gaps. Until now I had tried to patch together my missed learning through reading books and searching the internet but that felt insufficient and there were foundational pieces I was still seeking. Holding Space has offered a cohesive, organized learning platform that has greatly expanded, strengthened, and deepened what I know.” —Birch Dwyer, Poet, Teacher, Oregon

  2. You’re seeking tangible tools to translate the potency of your 1:1 work to a group setting.

  3. You’re newly tasked with bringing your groups and gatherings online.

  4. You’re looking for a tangible antidote to Zoom fatigue.

  5. You’re new to facilitating groups and want to grow your toolkit and expand your capacity to guide in-person and virtual offerings that move from intention to impact.

  6. You’re an experienced facilitator who knows there is still room to go deeper, cultivate more trust in yourself and your process, and create expanded impact.

  7. You’re committed to holding space for yourself in this process — to growing your resilience and countering burnout.

All of the course content lives on easy-to-navigate pages in Squarespace. You’ll want high-speed internet to access the content and watch the videos. Upon purchase, you’ll create a unique password that will grant you access to course materials for three months.

If you want to print the downloadable worksheets, you’ll need access to a printer. You can also type directly into the documents.

You will likely want your favorite journal and pen. Additional art materials are absolutely optional.

*I recommend that you have a virtual or in-person group you’re facilitating as you make your way through this course. This could be a casual gathering with friends, a mastermind you lead, an official class or course you’re already offering. Having an embodied way to practice these tools will help deepen the learning. (This is not required but encouraged.)

Holding Space is a five-week virtual course introducing participants to some of the core themes that we explore in greater depth through the Catalyst Leadership Immersion — a ten-month, intimate cohort with multiple retreats, monthly 1:1 Mentorship, and high-touch personalized support.

Holding Space is a dynamic and foundational stand-alone course. It is also highly recommended if you are considering joining the Catalyst Leadership Immersion or any of my additional immersive offerings.
