— A space for creative calibration, clarifying direction,
& generative community in turbulent times —

find your direction

I believe that this year is going to call us deeper into our heartwork. Compelling us to be even more resolute about our values, more firmly rooted in our visions, more buoyed by kindred community. Requiring our language to be salient, potent, and powerful so that it rises above the noise and cuts through the vitriol, so that it reminds us of the why of our work and calibrates us towards the world we envision.

This is an invitation to gather in a circle of like-hearted creatives, healers, leaders, and way-finders as we co-vision into our individual and collective work.

We will spend an afternoon in deeply nourishing ritual, tending to the sparks of our ideas and offerings, relishing in shared wisdom and care, and crafting a potent piece of language that speaks to the essence of our work.

I’ll guide us through my signature North Star writing process which has yielded so much clarity, inspiration, and creative use for my clients over the years. We’ll generate North Star Statements that can serve as a vibrant internal compass, a galvanizing manifesto; can inform (or become) your mission statement, or be showcased on your website or social media. ((Many of my clients have gone on to adapt this resonant process, using it across disciplines in their own facilitated spaces. You may too!))

We’re not meant to do our relational work alone, to iterate in isolation. Let’s vision, create, and root into the work that is ours to do — together.

What participants are saying:

I had the most amazing time with the writing prompts! This process was seriously life-changing.

This was
incredibly impactful for me. It was illuminating!!! I can’t stop talking with friends about how significant this experience has been for me.

This was a total WOW for me.

A deeply nourishing half-day retreat.

We’ll circle in a gorgeous, light-filled artist’s studio in NE Portland.
All materials and abundant snacks provided.

We’ll gather with our journals and steaming mugs of tea for a spacious afternoon of self and collective re-sourcing. We’ll share in a clarifying writing process, heartening conversation, and opportunities for quiet contemplation, joyous dance breaks, delicious food, and gentle practices of getting clear, letting go, and welcoming in.

In the company of fellow small-business owners, artists, and changemakers, we’ll dedicate focused energy to the work and offerings you want to bring forth over the next year. These might be projects already established or unfurling, new visionary endeavors, ways you are ready to tend to self and community. We’ll have time to pour into ourselves and each other, explore in ways both playful and profound, and clarify and claim what we want to catalyze ((and how to language it — and make it happen)).

You’ll leave with a distilled North Star Statement — a tangible creative compass you can turn to again and again in the months ahead. And you’ll have an expanded web of connections and creative allyship.

More from participants:

This was such an insightful and playful way to get to the heart of what matters and to have it spelled out so clearly in my own words!

This was
what I didn't know I needed. So wonderful, thank you.

These words now sit
front and center on my website, creating so much clarity in how I share my work!

ABOUT YOUR GUIDE:

Hi, I’m Anya (she/they). I believe that we are the leaders we’ve been looking for — huemxn, imperfect, ever-evolving. I know that our language can be a roadmap to our deepest connections, a portal to our reimagined future. I trust that by offering our unique remedies into the fractures of the world, we actualize living legacies of healing, creative expression, and lasting impact. As a leadership mentor, seasoned facilitator, and copywriter, I have spent the last 20+ years supporting an international network of justice-centered entrepreneurs and mission-driven organizations to create, communicate, and catalyze their signature work.
